Work that speaks for itself
Weatherbys Private Bank
‘Banking that knows you’
~ With M&K Design
Copywriting Brand development Messaging framework
Weatherbys believes banking should be personal – built on knowledge and understanding that goes beyond the numbers. Working with M&K Design, I brought that belief to life through a new tone of voice, brand narrative and messaging, all centred around one core idea: ‘Banking that knows you’. The result is copy that feels warm, insightful and distinctly human. Banking with personality, you might say.
Clarins
‘My Clarins, my nature’
~ With Haygarth
Copywriting Creative concept
How do you make Clarins click with a generation who think it’s a brand for their mum? Give them something that feels entirely their own. Working with Haygarth, I helped create an integrated campaign that went beyond skincare, tapping into individuality, self-expression and a new way for younger consumers to explore what makes them unique.
Ferrero Rocher
‘Dolce’
~ With Tracy Locke
Copywriting Creative concept
To remind consumers of the great taste of Ferrero Rocher, we created Dolce – an award-winning luxury London pop-up dining experience which deconstructed the five unique layers of the product through five delicious mini-desserts. I worked with Tracy Locke on the concept, copy, social and video content, resulting in a sell-out within 24 hours of launching.
Frankie & Benny's
‘Real good comfort food’
~ With Whippet
Brand strategy Tone of voice Guidelines Copywriting
With restaurants getting ready to open their doors again after lockdown, Frankie & Benny’s needed a refresh. I worked with Whippet to develop a clear brand positioning and identity that would reconnect with loyal customers, and win new ones – re-launching the brand as the home of ‘Real Good Comfort Food’ with a fresh tagline and messaging that was rolled out online, OOH and across UK stores.
M&S Bank
‘The credit card that loves you back’
~ With Whippet
Brand strategy Tone of voice Guidelines Copywriting
Working with Whippet, I helped shape a new brand identity for M&S Bank, starting with a new strategic positioning: ‘Be less financial services, be more M&S’. From there, I helped create a messaging framework and copy that left the usual banking speak behind, focusing less on selling a credit card and more on the feelings and experiences it could unlock.
M&S Café
~ With Whippet
Naming Packaging Retail copy Brand strategy Tone of voice Guidelines
M&S Café wanted a rebrand fit for a young and hungry audience. So, working with Whippet, I helped create a refresh that felt more hospitality than supermarket. Along with a new positioning statement and tagline, I helped develop a comprehensive set of brand guidelines and a playful tone of voice – with naming, packaging and in-store copy flourishes that really brought the new brand to life.
Molson Coors
~ With Brand Opus
Naming Packaging Copywriting
Vyne
Bold, refreshing and unique, Vyne is a botanically infused sparkling water with a difference. Working with Brand Opus and Molson Coors, I helped create a new brand from scratch – with a name rooted in nature, and copy designed to draw in curious drinkers.
Huzzah
A probiotic seltzer for people who live life out loud needed a name to match. Enter Huzzah! I worked on the naming, positioning and messaging for a bold new brand designed to shake up a sea of seltzer sameness. Energetic, enthusiastic and never short of something to celebrate.
M&S Food
Halloween fun
~ In-house
Naming Packaging Copywriting
Halloween gave M&S the perfect excuse to have a little fun with food. I created names and packaging copy for its seasonal range of treats, bringing plenty of personality and playful wordplay to everything from old favourites to new creations.
